Indianapolis
Hey — I'm Tim, and I wrote this note myself. If you're thinking about joining our team, I figured you should hear from me, not from a generic careers page.
A few years ago I got sick. Nine hospitalizations across about two years. Endless specialists. Records that never caught up, prescriptions that didn't end up where they were supposed to, portals that didn't talk to each other. At one point I had four of them open on my phone and couldn't tell you what was happening in any of them.
I was the patient, and I was also somehow the person responsible for making the system work — fighting it calling, faxing, relaying, translating between doctors who had never spoken to each other and never would. Nobody else was going to do it.
I built Welli because I lived that. Because nobody should have to coordinate their own care while they're the one who's unwell. We're building the infrastructure to fix this, and we need people who are willing to do the hard, hidden work to make it happen.
If that sounds like the kind of problem you want to solve, write to me directly. No recruiters, no automated screening. If we're a match, we'll talk. If not, we part friends — and you at least know exactly what we're about.
Either way — thanks for reading this far. Most pages don't get read this far, and I don't take it for granted.
